Chelsea Hackett

I am a facilitator, scholar, and creative consultant. I co-founded of the international vocal empowerment training program SPEAK and completed my doctorate in Educational Theatre at NYU focusing on a partnership between a Guatemalan theatre company and all-girls school. In addition, I hold extensive experience designing and leading externally funded research initiatives and interdisciplinary programs across university and community contexts. My work examines the intersections of participatory education and cross-sector partnerships, translating research into peer-reviewed scholarship, evidence-based curricula, and public-facing experiential educational collections that center community members as authors of knowledge.

I believe in using the power of creative play to build collective meaning and engage in critical conversations.
