After meeting Alicia Sen and watching Ajchowen perform, I was dedicated to focusing my doctoral research on their work. The paper that I have included here, written for Dr. Beth Norman's Approaches to Qualitative Inquiry class in Spring 2015. In this paper, I proposed focusing on Alicia Sen's life through a narrative inquiry. While I since decided to pursue my research through a different lens, this is a good example of how I can examine applied theatre work through various research methods.
